Nurses
Laura Corril, RN, BSN, is the
Grandview and Southview Hospital Bariatric Program Manager. She will be your
support person during your hospital stay.
Laura graduated from
Miami University with a Bachelor's in Nursing. Her entire nursing career has
been spent caring for patients at Grandview~Southview Hospitals.
She has cared for
Dr. Clarey and Dr. Bruce's Bariatric patients for 14 years and was the first
nurse in Ohio to have their program awarded the "Center of Excellence"
designation.
In addition to the
knowledge obtained over the years of caring for weight loss surgery patients,
she received extensive weight loss surgery training at Celebration Hospital in
Orlando, Florida. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (Honor Society of Nursing),
the American Society of Bariatric Nurses and she is an Associate member of the
American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS).

Dorothea
Clarke, R.D., L.D., is the Director of Nutrition Services
at Grandview and Southview Hospitals.
Marta
Wright , R.D., L.D., received
her Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics from Ohio State University. She has
worked with Bariatric patients for over 15 years and is a member of Dietitians
in Nutrition Support, a dietetic practice group. She has done extensive
reading and self-study.
Alicia
Buterbaugh, R.D., L.D., is a
registered and licensed dietitian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition
and Dietetics from Kent State University. She completed her dietetic
internship at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a member of
The American Dietetic Association and the Weight Management Dietetic Practice
Group. Her continuing education includes a seminar entitled
"Nutritional Implications of Bariatric Surgery: Perspectives of
Practitioners".
Kamie
Stoner, R.D., L.D., received her
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Louisiana Tech University.
She received Bariatric Center experience during a 9 month Internship and has over
1 year's experience counseling Bariatric outpatients prior to surgery. She has
done extensive self-study through accredited professional sources and
peer-reviewed journals.
