Meet Our Office Staff

Jennifer 

Jennifer Leis,  CMC, (Certified Medical Coder) is the Office Manager, responsible for the overall functions of the office practice of three surgeons and the staff required to run it.

Jean 

Jean Dugger, CSGL, (Certified Support Group Leader)  does the insurance pre-certifications, and booking of the surgeries with the hospitals. 

Jean is a Gastric Bypass patient, also does the support group meetings at Victor J. Cassano clinic and helps council bypass patients with her first hand knowledge of the procedure.  Jean's surgery was done in May, 2002 and she has lost over 200 pounds! She is a Certified Support Group Leader and Success Habits Instructor and also a Certified Bariatric "Back on Track" Instructor. 

Patty 

Patty Johnson, CMIS,  CSGL, (Certified Medical Insurance Specialist and Certified Support Group Leader)  does the insurance pre-certifications, and booking of the surgeries with the hospitals. Patty is also a Certified Support Group Leader, a Success Habits Instructor and a Back on Track Facilitator.  

Tamika Kelly, CMA, and Mandy Johnson do a variety of jobs such as greet  the patients at the patient window upon their arrival to the office, answer questions, manage general surgery paperwork and answer the telephone.  They also take patients to the examination room, prepare the patient to see the doctor, assist the doctor with procedures, and contact patients for lab or test results and when they need follow-up care.

Reggie 

Reggie Linz, CST, (Certified Surgical Technologist) is the Marketing Manager and Webmaster. 

Prior to joining the Dayton Bariatric Center, Reggie was a Surgical Technologist and General Surgery Resource Leader at Grandview Hospital from where she retired in 2004 after 30 years. Her vast surgical experience and her computer skills are a great match for the work she brings to the office practice.
